About Me

Grew up in the beautiful Northwest (I miss water), went to school in OK, and now I hang out with what is perhaps the finest group of folks on the face of the planet. They are called _tag. I live in the Springs with my most excellent wife, Maria, my rockin' little girl, Aurora Kate, and a new little Parsley on the way. They are my three favorite people in all the world.

My Interests

Fulfilling God's purpose in my own generation, my family, _tag, music, books, Mt. Everest documentaries, espionage stories, coffee, marketing, and water skiing, Oh, and Cheetos.

I'd like to meet:

Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Daniel, Peter, John, Esther, Ruth, and Jack Bauer.

Music:

Big fan of most, but especially: Harry Connick Jr., U2, The Oneders, OK Go, Keane, Leeland, Switchfoot, The Brand New Heavies, Coldplay, my boy Jon Egan, delirious?, United, one Hanson song (don't knock it til you tried it), Lauryn Hill (when she sings instead of rapping), Captain Geech and the Shrimp Shack Shooters, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Michael Giacchino, Danny Elfman, Michael English, and the boys of the desperation band.

Movies:

LOTR trilogy, The Patriot, That Thing You Do, Mission: Impossible 1 & 3, Rocky Movies (all but #5) Shawshank, Sister Act 2 (I get weepy-can't explain it), Braveheart, The Incredibles, on and on...

Television:

24 wins. Coming in at a close second is Lost and The Apprentice is third. I know the reality tv thing is pretty much done, but that Trump still has a hold on me. It's the biggest, most extravagant, and luxurious hold in the world. Now that I'm over 30 I also enjoy watching the news from time to time.

Books:

The Bible, The Pursuit of God, The Tipping Point, Made to Stick, just about anything on theology, ministry, management, or marketing. Oh,and Everyone Poops. Classic.

Heroes:

Jesus, My brothers, a cool lady named Jeanne, my wife, Jack Bauer, Ethan Hunt, and all my people at _tag. Their love for God is astounding.

My Blog

I don't really blog yet.

Told you.
