My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Any girl aged 18+ who's looking for a fantastic way to make friends, keep fit have fun and kick some ass! Size, shape and age don't matter, infact the only thing that matters is that you want to skate!
Non-skaters are also MORE than welcome as we can teach you to skate! It's attitude that counts!
Check out the calender below, drop us a line and come along to one of our practices, just to chat or to join in the carneage...
You will need: quad skates, skate helmet, knee and elbow pads, wrist guards and mouth guards, some comfortable clothes to skate in, a bottle of water or juice and the expectation of a whole new world of body odor. Roller Derby brings the sweat! We have spare sets of pads and helmets to lend out for your first few goes, if after that you've been biten by the derby bug (and you'll know when you have) check out everglides www.everglides.co.uk for your skates. Reidells are the daddy's and as a registered member of ARRG you can expect a 10% discount from the lovely folk at Everglides, who are based in Leeds, and super friendly and helpful! Check out the blogs for more info on pads and other equiptment, or speak to any friendly rollergirl for advice! If you're interested in becoming an Auld Reekie Roller Girl please get in touch. Our current members range from 18 - 38 and from Bar Tenders to Historians - it's open to EVERYONE!!!
DON'T FEEL LEFT OUT BOYS!! Yes! Although guys can't play Roller Derby we still need Referees, Announcers, Trainers Jeerleaders, First Aiders and all round general support. So boys, get in touch too!********************************************************
