Since I haven't worked up the nerve to take a baseball bat to my TV as of yet, television still plays a measurable role in my life. Um, I like a good sporting event preferably of local interest- PHILLY SPORTS baby!, Hot Pursuits is cool, Cops is cool, Three Stooges whenever I can find it, public television, CNN, Whose Line Is It Anyway, used to like Boy Meets World then I got way to old to be watching it. Any channel that shows music videos even if you have to get up a 5 am to watch em.
Cuckoos Nest, The Catcher in the Rye, Fast Food Nation, Nickel and Dimed, Hope's Edge, Diet for a Small Planet, Earth in Balance, various textbooks, Ecotopia, Peace Like a River, The Color Purple, used to dig Conversations w/ God though it doesn't inspire me as much these days, Wayne Dyer books are pretty inspiring, The Da Vinci Code... need to start reading more but I always say that.
