The Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is funded by a grant from the United States Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. The Michigan ICAC Task Force includes officers from the Michigan State Police, Livingston County Sheriff's Department, Lansing Community College Department of Public Safety, Lansing Police Department, Livonia Police Department, Michigan State University Department of Police and Public Safety, and the Sumpter Township Police Department.
The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit (CCU) provides computer-related investigative expertise and support to law enforcement agencies across the state. From forensic examinations to online tracking, CCU officers perform a variety of law enforcement services specifically related to computer crime.
