Pete and the Meatwhistle

About Me

Gibson Guitar MySpace LayoutsThe two-man power-duo of Pete and Bryan "the Meatwhistle" Kapschull formed way back in '06 amongst the steam and steel of a Vermont brewery. Pete hails from Flint, Michigan, also the birthplace of one Michael Moore and Grand Funk Railroad. The Meatwhistle was raised down the line in Wayne County, PA, home to two federal prisons and the stench of broken dreams. The two decided to combine their musical efforts after their first impromptu session caused the building they were in to crumble and burn. From those ashes, like a mighty phoenix, arose the band that will define a generation. Combining classic blues music, juke house music and a bolt of lightning sent from Zeus, Pete and the Meatwhistle have yet to fail to get a crowd stompin' their feet and shakin' their tails. The Meatwhistle's phat-backed drums and Pete's combination of guitar and slide guitar (and yes, his homemade cigarbox guitar, Sweetpea) create a fast moving, high energy demolition of sound that could be matched only by the apocolypse. Dig it.
