KRSA started to play the drums around 1995. He played in several garage bands ranging from punk-rock through acid-jazz to ska. Being influenced by early jamaican dancehall music and deejay culture and the ragga-jungle scene, in one of his bands he made an appearance on the microphone also and chanted a song as the closure of the band’s set. This track got recorded and was put on a hungarian ska compilation. Planning to start a band where he would play the mc role coincidently matched the time when the band Pannonia Allstars Ska Orchestra (PASO) was about to form. PASO gathered different musicians from the Hungarian music scene with the aim to introduce the jamaican influenced more traditional type of ska to the local audiences and hearing that track on the compilation made the first founding members to invite KRSA to be their mc.
After forming in 2003 with Lord Panamo as the mc (later on KRSA picked up the name Lord Panamo refering to his white suit and panama hat which he wears on stage and paying respect to the ska artist Lord Tanamo at the same time) PASO became a hard working band and soon gained local and international recognition. The band has released a demo and a live album and the first album „Budapest Ska Mood†came out at Robert ’Bucket’ Hinley’s Megalith Records in 2005 follwed by their second full lenght „The Return of the Pannonians†in 2007.
Panamo started up PASO Soundsystem with the selectas Lipi Brown and Afonya just a few months later than forming PASO. The main goal here was to play original ska tunes from the ’60ies besides the reggae and dancehall music that is naturally part of a soundsystem act. The PASO Soundsytem is usually teamed up with the female sound Sound Sistaz and KRSA collaborates with them as an mc as well.
After having some versions for classic riddims and playing them over and over at the soundsystem shows it was a natural step to play these songs live with a backing band as well. For this reason Lord Panamo has teamed up with the budapest based backing band called Budapest Riddim. This performance is mainly dedicated to dancehall and reggae music.
Lord Panamo often does „combinations†with other various style bands as well (ranging from folk to electronica, from reggae to easy listening, from metal to hip-hop, etc.). So far he appeared on stage and/or on recordings with the following:
Pannonia Allstars Ska Orchetsra, PASO’s Roots Rockers, Rotterdam Ska-Jazz Foundation, Victor Rice, Brains, Irie Maffia, Erik Sumo Band, Dr. Ring-Ding, King Django, Budapest Riddim, Chuck Norris Action Squad, the deadbeats, Folkfree, Jack Ruby Jr., Trojan Soundsystem, Ladánybene 27, Kingston Cruisers, Péterfy Bori & Love Band, Goulasch Exotica, Mr. T-Bone Allstars, Riddim Colony, GAP, PASO Traditional Ska Special, Böiler, Nice Time, PASO Soundsystem, Love Alliance, Irie Maffia Soundsystem, Sound Sistaz,

Lord Panamo is also a permanent guest in the hungarian crossover band Chuck Norris Action Squad and recently started to play the drums again in a surf band called Cowabunga-Go-Go!
KRSA aka Lord Panamo was chosen to be one of the two musicians who represents Hungary in the Converse’s Connectivity campaign 2008.
