The Clubhouse is a residential recording facility in New York's beautiful Hudson Valley. Started in 1988 by owner/engineer Paul Antonell, the studio moved to its current ground-up location in 2000. Also home to producer/engineer D. James Goodwin, the Clubhouse has forged a reputation as one of the most respected, creative and innovative studios in the country.
The Clubhouse foundation is based on an unparalelled collection of vintage recording equipment : an original NEVE 8058 recording console, Studer A827 analogue tape machine, a huge collection of modern and vintage microphones, outboard gear, and amplifiers. A 1922 Steinway Grand Piano, Hammond B3, Mellotron, and mutiple Moogs are just a fraction of the instruments that call Clubhouse home.
The Clubhouse philosophy is based on comfort. With a guest house adjacent to the studio itself, artists call this place home whether they stay here for a day or a month. The studio is truly a home away from home........
