I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm 27 and it kinda scares me. My kids Anthony, 6 and Lailah, 4 are growing bigger every time I look at them and that scares me too. I have a beautiful wife, Alexis, who I went to school with since kindergarten. I work full time at White Cap Construction Supply (recently acquired by The Home Depot) and own an internet based franchise (my internet franchise may sound really sexy and cool but we're still just starting out. Most businesses take up to five years before you begin to see significant profits) so if you're impressed with us, don't be. Anybody can start and run a successful business if they have the right mentorship and training. Nonetheless, we have big dreams and aspirations for our future.Alexis stays home with the kids because no one can raise children better than their parents, right? I'm a christian and I work towards living that out on a daily (sometimes even a minute by minute) basis. Don't get me wrong. I didn't say that I'm perfect, nobody is. I've heard it said that you don't get good to get God, you get God to get good. Hopefully that doesn't rub anyone the wrong way, however, I hope you give me room to be who I am and I'll do my best to extend the same courtesy towards you.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Winners. People who are tired of living life in a manner of "just getting by". People who want to make a positive impact in their personal lives as well as in their community and in the world. People who think outside of the box. People who understand grace and forgiveness and are willing to practice the uses of each in their relationships. People who are friendly and polite yet bold in who they are and what they stand for. People who are willing to draw that same boldness out of themselves and are willing to also help other people do the same. People who don't take themselves too seriously, but take their life and what they do with it seriously. People who are willing to face their fears. People who are willing to change. People who are willing to take a chance. People who are willing to fail. Who are willing to get their teeth kicked in (figuratively or literally, depending on the situation) all for the greater good.

Think like a king

This is a great quote out of Joel Osteen's book Your Best Life Now "Years ago, a famous golfer was invited by the king of Saudi Arabia to play in a golf tournament.  He accepted the inv...
