A bit about me - I was Born in England of musical parents and raised on the edge of Exmoor in North Devon where I learnt to play the violin and viola. After years of classical training and increasing frustration with music, I started playing drums. Initially playing dub reggae with local dubbers Kashmir but soon joined psychedelic space rock band Slithey Tove supporting the likes of The Ozric Tentacles, Hawkwind, Crazy World of Arthur Brown amongst others and appearing at numerous alternative/underground festivals. Driven by the need to earn a few quid I moved to London and began playing Blues and Rock & Roll on the London scene. This led to many valued musical associations and consequently plenty of work in the UK and Europe on the Blues/R&R scene in a number of bands on a variety of musical projects within the genre. After a chance meeting at the coincidentally named Kashmir Klub in London's West End. I began to play on a regular basis with a number of talented songwriters, finding myself quite in demand as I had great dynamics with an empathic feel. I also had space in my playing for a song!!!In the spring of 2002 I was asked to join Ray Davies' band and with him have since toured extensively throughout the world, had numerous TV/Festival appearances and have worked on 3 Albums._____________________________________________________
