About Me

We are biking for a better world. Join Us.

Jay Hale
Larry McKurtis
Jake Barrett

A journey stretching between the Arctic and Tierra Del Fuego, with 15 countries in between and spanning 16,000 miles with our bicycles and cameras as companions. We'll be climbing Denali and Aconcagua, the two highest mountains in the Americas as well. Along the way we will be filming and making posts to here and at sixteenthousandmiles.com about the journey and what's happening. We will be riding on 100% Recycled and Environmentally Friendly Gear.

We'll also be riding to benefit the Coogan Kelly Foundation, as well as an undecided charity to benefit education in the Latin American countries we'll will be visiting.

In 2007, Larry road across the United States, and was followed by Mike and Amanda from For Thousands of Miles which is soon to be released. Please go add them and check out the Episodes, it's amazing.
