About Me

Just like everybody else, I work hard trying to make a living, respect others, pay my mortgage, pay my taxes, vote, enjoy my days off, play with my dogs, travel once in a while as I try to make a difference in this world.
PICTURE YOURSELF OR SOMEONE CLOSE TO YOU:
Working day to day in a normal job, supporting a family, breaking your back to pay for a roof over your head.....your spouse, your kids or your favorite pets are excited to see you when you come home, life is good, then one day, BAM!...your health is at risk, you have to go in for a surgery....doctor says, you need to take some time off and get better. Meanwhile, your expenses have to be covered, you dip into your savings just enough to cover your monthly expenses, and some of the mortgage..then the next thing you know you can't catch up...you get a letter from your lender that says; "your mortgage loan is in default and if it isn't paid within 30 days, they'll start foreclosure proceedings on your home." On top of that your spouse leaves you for he/she can't handle the stress!
I am not a financial expert nor I claim to be one. What I do know is; "money" is only a piece of "printed paper" that is used as an exchange for goods and services. That's all. Some of us are fortunate enough to have a lot of it, and therefore we are able to live comfortably because we can get more goods or services. Some of us don't have the luxury of getting more services or goods because we are short of "printed paper" LOL! But hey, the world isn't fair! So long as our sanity and health are in tact, I think we are ahead of the game. There are people out there with so much "printed paper" but are still unhappy. Let's not look very far. We see and hear about it on the news everyday--famous personalities with all the money in the world, yet some of their lives are in havoc.
I founded the "Save My Home Foundation" due to the fact that times have changed. The economy took a big nose dive particularly the housing market. A lot of people out there are only a paycheck away from being homeless. Countless others and their families are losing their homes due to some greedy mortgage brokers. Some home buyers were not fully informed of what they were getting in to. Those with nonstellar credit got into subprime loans with high interest. It's amazing how some first time home buyers as young as 25-yr-old got into million dollar homes because of "stated income." Majority of the mortgage brokers lied their way to the banks and fiddled with the figures in order to get their commissions. The lenders are to blame also because they were well aware of what the mortgage brokers were doing yet the bank approved the loans. I don't want to dwell on this, but I think if you're in this predicament, you'll know what I'm talking about.
I picked myspace to host my "cause" because it is probably the biggest network anyone can find and there maybe some people on here or someone they know out there who are on the verge of losing their homes.
The solution to saving your home is really simple and achievable. For example:If it takes $9,000 to save your home from foreclosure, all we need is 9,000 myspacers to contribute $1/per person to help you out. Dang! If your owe $800,000 on your home, all we need is 800,000 myspacers to contribute and we can buy you a home or even buy you a second home. Okay let's not go that far. LOL! But you get my drift? We have millions of members on here I'm sure who can afford to give a buck...it's nowhere near than the price of a "starbucks" latte. Everybody wins in this situation. You win and all the other members who pooled their resources become winners too because it feels good to do an act of kindness. And most of the time when such act is done, it comes back to you in three folds.
Let me hear from you. Let's hear your story. If any, just talking about it here on my page will help ease your stress or your worries.
Only genuine cases are welcome! Please let's not waste this space and time by making up some hard luck stories.
Good luck to you and God Bless!
