I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

H i, I'm Alan. I'm a Kiwi (that's slang for a native New Zealander, named after our famous bird - a flightless, long-billed ground grubber which symbolises national pride and achievement). My wife and I are avid cat lovers. At present we have six moggies, sadly reduced from eight originally due to old age and sickness. Although I've worked as a house painter for over two decades, I never stopped dreaming of making fuller use of my creative talents. I used to draw cartoons, even had a daily strip published many moons ago in my hometown paper. Then I got bitten by the writing bug and now I'm a published ebook author with SynergEbooks, thanks heaps to Deb Staples. Second only to my Michelle as the love of my life, books are my everything. My personal library at home is forever expanding (always could do with more bookshelves!)So if you're after a good read of humourous science fiction or fantasy, check out my Chosen trilogy at www.synergebooks.com.THE CHOSEN ONE is a prehistoric adventure set in the Age of Dinosaurs with a mysterious alien thrown in for good measure, all set against the show-stopping background of the cataclysmic Cretaceous extinction event.CHOSEN TOO, also a tale from the wondrous world of prehistory, deals this time with big cats and the apish beginnings of humankind, again influenced by alien meddling. But THREE TIMES CHOSEN takes a jump to the near future, where a drowned Earth is home to a wildly revamped humanity in dire straits. Read on, people!

Book 1 in The Chosen Trilogy. Two dinosaurs must choose between them who will resurrect an alien savior's vanished race before a doomsday meteor crashes on Planet Earth.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

A living fossil, preferably a dinosaur but I'd happily settle for a prehistoric mammal! But seriously...agents, publishers, fellow writers and readers of sci fi or fantasy. No bands please. I'm here to advocate books, books, books!
