About Me
Born in Ithaca NY Aug 5th 1981, move to Venezuela when I was 2 because my dad ended his masters in Cornell University, grew up in Barquisimeto where I began kinder garden in Las Chiquilladas after moving to Las Colinas, where I spend my 13 years of school... Start kicking the ball at 4, in Academia de Futbol Miguel Pla, where I had the oportunity to travel for soccer to countries like Colombia, USA and Brasil... Finish up school in July 98' and started my college carrear in USA, getting a scholarship at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester NY... Graduate from Business Administration and got signed by Caracas FC of the Venezuelan First Division League...Get into the music and entertaiment business in Feb of 2002, when coming back from the states and becoming a lover of Hip Hop/R&B, my old school friend Kiko (K12 www.myspace.com/twelverecords) told me that a club in Caracas was playing black music, something that I was looking for long time and did not believe...In fact, the club played the music so K12 and I decided to talk to the DJ to give him our music, but he told us to come the next day at 10... We came, and he decided instead of using our music, to tech us how to mix it... Carlos Ramirez (DJ Ram) till the day became my best friend... He is now the DJ of one of the best Bars in Venezuela, Whisky Bar and with his company Global Talent & Co has made events to firms such as Chevron-Texaco, Movistar, LG, etc...With DJ Ram we had a Radio Show in Planeta 105.3 fm called Planet Jams, 2 hours of mixed Hip Hop/R&B/Reggaeton, the first show of this kind in the country... I had the opportunity to mixed in many clubs and events (of course in vacation from soccer or nights before free days) and got to meet different musicians that love the music... Also had the chance to play in a concert of Venezuelan Rap Bands, where I met 4to Poder band and became good friend with them...Attending those events, Model Agency's and Advertising Agency's start interesting in myself because of my condition of Pro Soccer player, DJ and my foreign look, so they started using me in the campaigns of some of the most important brands of the country, a job that was hard for me to do because of my soccer compromises...In 2007 I created a company with my mother and 2 partners called Folio Group, in Caracas and Miami, a Public Relations company that helps Promote, Advertise, Manage, Events and people... A company that involve me more in the entertaiment...But when I decided that besides soccer what I wanted in my life was music, when I got together with K12 and he gave me some music in Miami, came to Venezuela and called Cotur (4to Poder www.myspace.com/cuartopoderhiphop) and decided to produce a song, the end of that was Again, my first song produce with Cotur and Herrera... Gabylonia, Cotur and Annita create great melodies for a big hit in Venezuelas radio stations... Also making of of my sisters Annita dream come true, record her first song...In 2008 K12, La Chachy and I are part of a great project called Alto Voltage (www.facebook.com, search Alto Voltage), a mostly Hip Hop/R&B/Reggaeton radio show that has had a great acceptation in Barquisimeto, hoping to have great success and take over the entire country... To listen www.antenasurfm.net everyday from 9-11 am Venezuelan time...Now I have a new challenge, just got sign by Miami FC so I will be moving to Miami, hoping to have a great soccer year but never leaving the music business or Alto Voltage...
