Maurizio Ferrari AKA The Gladiator, dj da dieci anni e produttore da tre, nasce a Roma ed inizia ad avvicinarsi alla musica nei primi anni del 2000. La prima scena italiana che lo ha visto dj resident è stata la discoteca “Planet Tecnho” a Roma, dì lì a poco il suo sound cominciò a fare il giro d’Italia. In poco tempo entra a far parte del “Genesi Team” che gestisce l’organizzazione di importanti serate a livello nazionale, a capo di cui c’è l’art director Simon Beta formando una coppia che li vedrà protagonisti di famosi eventi. Nel 2005 in collaborazione con Plasmaravers esce la sua prima produzione “Jump Stuff e.p. vol 2” prodotto dall’etichetta Kattiva Records. L’evento MegaCyborg porta Maurizio Ferrari alla conoscenza di Francesco Cortellesa, in arte HammerBoy, con il quale ha creato la Burned Records , etichetta discografica autoprodotta. Il loro primo singolo Flame e.p. che contiene le tracce My Brain ( The Gladiator ) e Fuck With The Beats (HammerBoy) riscuote successo nelle classifiche europee e collaborando con l’etichetta tedesca Tunnel Records producono la compilation “Dj Network vol. 29” . La Burned Records ha ottenuto il piu’ grande successo dalla loro seconda uscita Pyromaniac e.p., la cui traccia Beat Beack è entrata come hit per tre settimane nelle classifiche spagnole con collaborazione di dj Vortex. Lavorando insieme ad altri artisti elabora la prima parte del progetto BND 003 (Burned Style vol. 1 ) a cui seguirà la loro ultima, ma non ultima, produzione The Other Side. Maurizio Ferrari nel 2008 collaborerà anche con altre etichette discografiche: Suntec Rec. con lo pseudonimo di The Predatorz, e la Doggy Style, etichetta hardcore con il nome di The Illusionist M.F. Il grande successo apporta alla Burned Records importanti collaborazioni, Air Teo Megadrome staff collabora alla creazione di alcuni dischi in uscita nel 2008. Tutti questi successi portano Maurizio Ferrari ad avere molta notorietà in Italia tanto che arriverà a suonare come guest Burned indiscoclub di rilievo quali: Blu Star, Vogue, Milano 26, Mocambo, Mirage, Priscilla, La Gare, Eden, Pigalle, Street Parade, Super Sonic, Master of Hardstyle,Warriors in Rome, Cyborg, Palladium Hollywood, area 51, asia evolution...Maurizio Ferrari A.K.A. The Gladiator, has worked as dj for ten years and as producer for three years. He was born in rome and he has started working at the beginning of 2000 the first place. Where he worked as dj resident was the “Planet Techno” disco in Rome. Soon after his sound has starter getting known all over Italy. He soon becomes a member of the “Genesi Team” which organizes very important national events, presided by the art directory Simon Beta.With whon he lakes part in several famous events. In 2005, in collaboration with “Plasmaravers” Kattiva Records produces his first work “Jump Stuff e.p. Vol. 2.” During the Mega Cyborg event Maurizio Ferrari meets Francesco Cortellessa, alias Hammerboy with whon he creates burned records a self produced label. Their first work “Flam e.p”, which contains the tracks “My Brain” The Gladiatorand “Fuck whit the beats Hammerboy, is present in the european hits and in collaboration with the german label “ tunnel records” they produce the “Dj Network vol. 29” compilation. Burned Records gets its greatest success with its secon production “Pyromaniac e.p.” whose track “Beat Back” in collaboration with Dj Vortex has been in the spanish hits for three weeks. Working togheter with other artists,he denelops the first part of the BND003 (Burned Style vol.1) project,after which his most recent buy not last production “The Other Side” got published. The big success gives Burned Records the chance of great collaborations, like the one with air teo Megadrome Staff whit which they create some records in 2008.
