About Me

What Famous Leader Are You?
personality tests by similarminds.com
Well First and foremost, I'm a father, my kids are my world and nothin' will ever come before that (there is the almighty exception, but I think you know what I mean--lol) I was born in Arkansas, but raised in Ohio. I joined the military for a few of my own reasons. The american soldier is a hero of hero's to me, there are so few in this country that will stand up and defend what we have----FREEDOM!!!! Everyone wants to yell about how horrible this war is, or how terrible our president is, or even how bad our country has become.... but yet these are the chicken shits that sit on their couch and watch the news and feel they have the God given right to do or say what ever they want.... If it's so bad --- leave, come to a country like Iraq where there has been no freedom, live in a peice of shit house with no windows, or plumbing, wear the same clothes everday, give all your money to some greedy little prick or lose your life and family, get out in the sun in 130 degree weather and cut down a field of grass by hand, wake up every morning and thank God that you have a life to wake up with... then you have "some" right to bitch about how bad it is.... until then, just sit there and enjoy the best things life has to offer because of the men and women that make it possible for you and stop the bitching and moaning....next time you see a soldier, one of the very, very few people that are willing to lose thier life so you have a blanket of freedom to sleep under.... Thank them, don't curse them, let them know that you truly appreciate what they are willing to give up for you. How many friends do you have that would litterally die for you? These soldiers don't know you and will do just that, with honor and pride. So needless to say I'm proud to a soldier and I get pretty upset when I hear about people in our own country that don't like what we do or what we stand for.... I didn't really Intend to write as much as I did about all that..lol, but I think for the most part, alot of who actually read this will agree with it, and to those that don't.... there's an M-16 waiting to be put in your hands so you can put your money where your mouth is. Recently I was put down and degraded for some things that had happened while I was over seas......these "circumstances" were beyond my control, but yet I was made out to be nothing more than just a cold blooded, well anyway! What I think bugs me the most is that the people that like to treat soldiers like that need to be 1: just plain fuckin' shot or 2: get the fuck out of our country! If it weren't for a soldier not one of you would have the right to stand for anything at all, not that you apperently have much to stand for anyway but can sit back and take for granted what men have given thier lives to allow you to do! What right does anyone have to put down a soldier! is it because you "saw" something on the news? you think they are gonna get thier ratings if they show the truth in everything? is it because the soldier had a situation that he had to make a split second decision and will never know if it was the right one or not? If you haven't stood in the boots of an american soldier, if you haven't done anything to help keep this country proud, just sit down, go on with your petty life that was given to you by men of honor and don't shoot down the ones that defend it, if you can't look at a soldier and just smile, you don't even have to say anything to him, but give him that respect, because if anyone in this country earned their respect, it's him! he has faced things that you can't, just so you wouldn't have to...."I don't wanna die for you, but if dyin's asked of me, I'll bear that cross with honor, cause freedom don't come free" (Toby Keith) People in this country need to just keep thier mouths shut about what the military is doing or what we have to do, you only make it worse and harder for the soldiers....it drops moral. How would you feel if every soldier butted into your life and bitched about what you were doing, and told you that you were doing the "wrong" thing....I can promise you that you wouldn't like it. So in that, if you have nothing good to say about the military, then don't say anything at all, because regardless, we are americans and we are human, and it is better that we hear nothing at all than to be put down, our chances of living through things are better that way, and like us or not, we too have families and loved ones to come home to, just as you do each day going home from work. HELP KEEP MORAL UP!!!!! you don't even have to do anything to do that, just keep quiet if you don't like us.....and women/men here in the states....stay true and loyal to that soldier, there is nothing he/she looks forward to more than holding you when they come home, and they aren't on vacation and they are lonely too.

My Interests

My interests??? HHHmmmm, well I suppose you could say that I'm interested in just about anything outdoors. I like to hunt, fish, camp, hike, just a good ol' walk. I spend alot of time doing things with my kids, they won't be kids forever so I gotta get my time in while I can. Seems lately that most of my interests are just things I did in the past, I've been away from home for way too long.

Music:

I'm a metal head....what can I say? I listen to alot of Korn, Distrubed, Metallica, Mudvayne...a few others. But I like just about anything from classical, to country. I'm pretty open minded when it comes to music and appreciate what an artist can do.

Movies:

I LOVE MOVIES!!!! Gotta love what they can do these days. I'm a big fan of science fiction, horror and comedy. Yeah, I'll even sit down and watch a girlie movie when the situation warrants--lol (don't tell the guys!!)

Television:

I can't really say that I spend alot of time watchin' T.V. I do like the X-Files, and a few other assorted programs, but not too much to write in this section...

Books:

They still make those??

Heroes:

My children!! I have learned more from them than I will ever be able to teach them. They have showed me what really matters in life, a true unconditional love that seems to be more and more forgotten these days.
