PICTURESAWWW YES , The Images of my child hood...my adolecent years as a skater. Before gang banging and all the other drama that eventually took over the fuckin world...there was skateing....We created the word poser...and now to the new generation I guess I am one..but from about 1987 to 1991...I was a straight thrasher..yup!!Skateing pools and mini half pipes at 13, rail sliding and grinding harmony church burbs in clovis.. went and saw gleeming the cube with my mom at the movie theature...I think I was like 11 years old. Sneaking Punk Rock Tapes in my room because I know my dad would throw them away if he found them...Wathching Skate videos at my friends house , Little did he know skateboarding was the least of our problems compared to what was about to transpire in the 90's..sleep overs at other sketrs houses, complete strangers at times.. talking about going pro and who we would skate for..I miss the 80's!
MUSIC...Well If We're gonna talk 80's skateboarding...might as well bring up 80's hardcore..this was the soundtrack to my pre-teens because it was the soundtrack to all them sk8 vids we were watching...1st tape I got was the sex pistols..then The Dead Kennedys were introduced to me ..later came black flag, suicidal T, DRI, and Bad religion...The exploited and DOA were always in the back drop as well...I left Punk and Skateing in the 90's for a life style of straight Bull shit!!! But hey ...That Bull Shit made me who I am today ands thats Life for ya! No regrets..None what so ever..we all need memorys to look back on and I sure got mine!!
CURRENT TIMES........Well enough with the past..lets trip on the present. They say The most inportant thing in life is Family, and Im starting to understand that more and more as my kids grow....they get big fast!! Life is too Short to trip on the dumb shit..focus on what matters and thats you and yours...Dont let the short time we have left on this planet slip through your fingers. Spend time with those you enjoy and avoid those you dont because before you know it ...........its lights out. Know GOD and his purpouse..and try your hardest to fly straight..because what goes around....comes around, so make what ever comes around sweet as fuck!! Peace!
