Bio of Gutta
Music Became a big part of my life at the age of 11, siting in the garage everyday after school watchin my dad and my aunt fool around on some old turntables they had back in the day. I got my first set of tables on my 12th B-day (Numark Battle Pack). With those, I did everything under the sun. I dj’ed little get togethers my family would have, church events ,and I even made my own radio shows, with fake commercials and all. At the age of 14 my grandma told me, “one day ima get you a drum set,†which she did, because I would always beat on the seats and dash board of her lincon to the music. She bought me an electric drum set, not the best one in the world, but it made me happy.
As I got older music has gotten deeper in my viens. I started rappin with my cousin, Chris Jackson and one of my very close friend, Jeffery Porter. Together we made, The Three Kingz. We did two mixtapes, using a basic sound recorder on the PC, with the speaker, and our mouth right next to the microphone. Back then that was all we had, and knew how to use, and we made it work. My sophomore year I moved to Virginia, in the DMV (DC, Maryland,Virginia) area. I stayed in Alexadria. There I met a lot of people, which I met them quicker then most. Everybody knew me for; my music and where I was from. I later on met this guy by the name of Frank, a music producer and artist, who thought me the Basics of using pro tools. He introduced me into producing. From there it was clear on what I wanted to do in my life. At age seventeen, I was dj’ing mixtapes, while I was also producing tracks for locals and numerous people on soundclick.com. Soon after, I got in contact with my brother Ange aka Kazie, come to find out he’s been doing the same things, I’ve been doing. So, we got together and made ASAP Productions. We gave it the name ASAP, because with every project that we had, we aimed to get it done as fast as we could, so that we could move on to the next.
In the fall of 2006 I moved to Moore, Oklahoma. I promoted my music by making quick mixtapes for people, and even shouted some of them out on the mixtape. In turn, word got around and I was being asked to dj at a party almost every weekend. I also had a show on the internet radio station called, Hater Radio. Then later on hooked up with PTH (Presidential Trap House) and is now producing for some of the Hotest in the city.
