Ben's Background
I grew up in south Birmingham in an area called Hollywood right up until I was 18 and went to Uni in Manchester. I’m just finishing my second year.
I’m into heavy rock kinda stuff mainly, but like loads of different types of music. I go out quite a bit to different places - Jillys, Satans, Music Box etc. but mainly random pubs, raves & house partys – just depends on what’s happenin.
I'm generally chillin out and having a smoke with my mates. They're a bunch of crazy bastards.
I like:

dirty fuckin metal bein lazy computers gaming DJing my mates
I don’t like:
getting up in the morning runnin out of tea bags never having enough money cooking skinny jeans religion your face

Last year I lived in Cambridge Halls which was amazing. From the 10 of us in the flat there, 6 of us have moved into a house in Fallowfield (Manchester). Its pretty good down here, loads of students and bars and stuff.

Recently my only job has been doing some DJing at various rock clubs. I'm not getting paid for it properly yet so I should really be looking for another job, but that would be shit.
I started in early October 2006 at the Phoenix's new rock night P.O.R.N. with the Manchester Rock Society, and also once a month at The Attic. Now I'm part of the Exile DJ's, run by my friend and promoter Matt Rogers.

Ben's Web & Graphic Design
I've been learning Web Design & Development and Graphic Design for a few years now. Some of it I've picked up from College (ND IT Diploma) and Uni (Multimedia Computing Degree) but most of it I learned on my own.
I've done a few websites and graphics for people, usually bands but also flyers for club nights etc. For some examples of my work go to MY DEVIANT ART GALLERY .
