About Me

-Under the Influence show was born in 1994 at WOBC, Oberlin College Radio, dj illigan and my man the journalist. The show stayed alive till 1997, the journalist left for the air force in 1996, shortly thereafter eyerekshon stepped in and joined the show till its finale.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -From 1994 to 2004, did many mixtapes, notable ones consist of, "A Shot A Head Nod," "Stress Your Relaxation," "Life Science," "Reverse Assimilation," and "Iconoclastic."!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-Between 1998 and 2005, held down the tables for many, many, many different mc's, groups, and a couple of bands. Acts that I was actively involved in -- Star Afrique, Kinetic Architects, Bonus Won, Eyerekshon, Matt G and Justin Bardic, Matt G solo, Justin Bardic solo, Hom Blackmail the Synomical/EP-X Stylist, Cactus Brown, Rahim, Plee, a priori, Self Says, Pale Soul from Old Dominion, John Blazini, Yoshi, Open Mic Affiliates.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-In 2002 and 2003, "Under the Influence" show returned in Grand Rapids Michigan on Sunday nights. Part of a larger radio hiphop conglomerate titled the "Mass Transit DJ's." Put together by my man DJ Dubs, featuring, DJ Dubs, DJ Yogi, DJ OneXTyme, DJ illigan, DJ Chokes, and DJ Atropine.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-In February of 2004, helped start and create a hiphop night in Ypsilanti, MI, at a bar called Theos, titled "local talent." Helped maintain and djay the night every Tuesday till this past August in 2005. Held down the tables every Tuesday, with other resident djs, Fat Cal, and Brother Jacob, hosted by Plee, Justin Bardic, and Matt G. Got to open up for an amazing amount of local acts as well as acts on tour, some to mention-- Old Dominion, Icon the Mic King, Dose Noun, Astronautilus, Cesar Comanche, Wasted Youth, 87, Phrikshun and Illite, Beace, Bluebird, Unsung, Arcane, Human Wick Effect, Rizing Sunz, Dante Dominique,.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!In June of 2004-September 2004, helped start and create a hiphop night in Ann Arbor, MI at the Blind Pig, similar to the above mentioned night in Ypsilanti. It Featured both local acts and some who were touring at the time. Also through that got to open up for Immortal Tecnique, Brother Ali, and Brand Nubian.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-In 2004 Justin Bardic and I put out the "Transition Tapes." An extremely low budget beauty of nothin but raw hiphop.-September 2005 - June 2006, "Under the Influence" show had returned. Dj illigan and eyerekshon, every Tuesday night/Wed. morning from 12am-2am on 91.5fm Oberlin College Radio, also on http://wobc.org/.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-October 2006 - Just moved to Berkeley,CA.
