Originally from Sacramento, Francesca moved to Southern California where she earned her bachelor's degree in jazz vocal performance from Cal State Northridge. She then went on to receive her masters degree in jazz from Cal State Long Beach. Francesca has had the honor of receiving numerous awards, including a DownBeat award as member of ARC's vocal jazz ensemble and most recently was named Best Jazz Vocalist by DownBeat Magazine (2008).
Traveling frequently to Europe, Francesca teaches and performs in both Southern California and Germany.
Francesca also sings with a professional vocal jazz ensemble called Down 4 the Count, who have recently released their debut album.
