I'd say I listen to a variety of music. Right now Im really Feeling Staind, Shakira, Carlos Vives, & Pearl Jam (I don't know, for some reason I've been stuck on them for a couple of weeks. I guess their music brings back memories)My favorties genre of music is salsa, especially old salsa. La Fania Allstars have real good salsa (Hector LaVoe, Ismael Rivera, Willie Colon, Cheo Feliciano, Richie Ray etc.) El Gran Combo, El Grupo Niche, El Joe Aroyo. I also like Frankie Negron, Los Adolecentes, Jerry Rivera... I also love the music from back home: La Champeta, el Vallenato(Kaileth Morales Y El Binomio De Oro), y la Cumbia... I also listen to Deftones, Led Zeppelin, Seether, Saliva, Incubus, Taproot, The Verve, Default, Nirvana, Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Puddle of Mudd, Aerosmith, My Chemical Romance, Switchfoot, Tonic... And then I just have a mess of artists I listen to, for instance: Selena, Outkast, Daddy Yankee, Sean Paul, Kim Sozzi, Benny Benasi, Ray Charles, U2, Juanes, Nelly Furtado, Mary J Blige... And some other genres too, a bit of reggaeton, a little reggae, some merengue here and there, and not often, but I do hear it, bachata. I think thats about it...Wow--that's a long list!
The note book, Joy Luck Club, Steel Magnolias, Maria Llena de Gracia, Gia, Sixteen Candles, Pretty In Pink, The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, 50 First Dates, The Shining, Now and Then, Mean Girls, Gremlins, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc, Gone in 60 Seconds, Look Whose Talking, Look Whose Talking Now, and the other one with the dogs that talk, Grease, Titanic, Romeo and Juliet, The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, Goonies, A Bronx Tale, Carlito's Way, Con Air, Face Off, The Rock (as in starring Nicolas Cage not the wrestler), Snake Eyes, City of Angels, Notting Hill, Ocean's Eleven, Ocean's Twelve, Interview With the Vampire, Top Gun, Vanilla Sky, Ricky Business, Kids, Party Monster and other movies I can't remember...
Sex and the City, Everybody Loves Raymond, Friends, The Simpsons, Family Guy, The Fresh Prince of Bellair, Roseanne, and time slots that play music videos, can't forget Dariah- even if they don't air it anymore. Oh yeah and news and the weather channel for the forecast.
Angels & Demons, The Da Vinci Code, Deception Point, The Great Gatsby, Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, The Queen of the Damned, The Tale of the body Thief (Basically the complete vampire chronicles), Night, and other stuff but I can't remember ...Oh, I Forgot to mention, you'll catch me reading Instyle magazine and allure all the time!!!
Can't say I have too many heroes. Just my mami and my papi for all they've accomplished and for all they've done for me and my papi (abuelo/grand pa) on mami's side since he's a perfect example of rags to riches.
