About Me

I was born in Mexico City, Mexico. I came to the U.S. when I was ten years old. I remeber as soon as I learned the language...I didn't listen to music right away...I was still listening to mexican music...at the time...and about 94 or so...I heard rap for the first time...I remember it was Warren G Ft. Nate Dogg...Regulate...I fell in love with the sound...I didn't even know what hip hop was yet...I had no idea that what I was listening to was Gangsta Rap...I fell in love with the sound of it...the drums, the melody, the words. I dug deep into the gangsta rap...then little by little after getting into Ice Cube and Eazy E....I started to realize how big hip hop was. I started to hear Wu-Tang...Nas...Big Pun...The underground was growing in the 98 or so...Kweli, Mos Def...Pharoahe...I had no idea the Roots were even around I had to back pedal for a good five to six years before I could say I knew hip hop...u know!!!...but now I'm very knowledgable about the art. I've been rhyming since about 95-96 or so right after I was into Gangsta Rap...I was writing poetry before I even heard...rap or hip hop or any of that, so I had a knack for writing before even falling in love with our culture. I'm almost a decade in the making...and I feel it's about that time...to show it to the world.

Band Members: Soul and emcee/producer Authenic...we are Black Mecca. I intend to drop my solo project after we release our group album....I have never heard an emcee/producer like Authenic...I believe he probably has gotta be the best emcee/producer out there...Rza gotta be the best emcee/producer out there at this moment, and he's a better emcee than a producer. My rhyme partner is better at producing than Rza and that sounds far fetched but ya'll will see when we drop The Black Mecca Album...after Our Point of Elevation Mixtape.
Influences: Most IMPORTANT influence is N, A, S...Nas...Nas...Nas, ever since hearing It Was Written it was over for me...I was like I wanna emcee. Songs Like I GAVE U POWER...I mean something so creative and intricate...I said to myself I wanna do that...I wanna amaze with my thoughts...other influences are the GOD EMCEE RAKIM...Slick Rick...Krs...Big Daddy Kane...LL...Masta Ace is the most underated emcee next to Jadakiss...cop Disposable Arts, and A Long Hot Summer.
