Profile GeneratorOpus Nocturne was born in the summer of 2005, as an idea of Impaler to create a band that could perform extreme, infernal and fast black metal.
He recruited some members, and then they started rehearsing with the first line up:
-Impaler – Bass
-Blackcount – Guitars
-Nybaldak – Drums
-Angel - GuitarsThere was no vocals at the time, so Impaler decided to recruit Essial (with whom Impaler had previously played in other band) so he can perform the vocals in the band, then the line up was complete.Due to personal reasons, Angel stopped attending to the rehearsals, so Essial took vover the second-guitar duties in the band.Lord Mictain Death joined the band as vocalist, andthen the line up is complete again with:-Impaler – Bass
-Blackcount – Guitars
-Essial - Guitars
-Nybaldak – Drums
-Lord Mictain Death – VocalsEssial left the band because he moved to another country, and it was at this time when the band started being recognized and playing local and national shows with bands such as Saman, Moon ligthing hell, Azgeroth, Black Vomit, Eternal Darkness, Aghro Maynins, Rapture Messiah, Allaxul, and Magan among others.After almost one year, Essial re-joined the band as he came back home, and the line up was complete again, the band started to play more local and national shows sharing stage with local and international bands such as Myastic Circle, Avulsed, and opened for the black metal gods Marduk which was a great honor being this band one of the biggest influences for Opus Nocturne.After some time, the band started to play mostly with no bass live, due to some problems with Impaler. And some time later due to personal differences, Impaler left the band, and Daemonethia took his place as a bassist. The band had this line up for a while, but after a couple months and some musical differences, Lord Mictain Death and the band parted ways in good terms.Essial takes over the vocal duties in the band and the line up is complete again.After some time Blackcount is no longer part of the band due to problems attending to rehearsals, but still remains a friend of the band, instead of looking for a new guitar player, Daemonethia takes Blackcount’s place as guitarrist, so the line up is solid again.Opus Nocturne changes their style to a more thechnical and deep black metal, whith an atmosphere of darkness never reached before, and plays a couple of shows including opening for Dark Funeral (another one of the biggest influences for the band).Currently the band is working on new songs and looking forward to record them soon...The cicle is complete, and the black flame burns stronger than ever within our circle...>
