DUBISM

About Me

Dubism arrived from the planet Jupiter back in 1963 and settled into life in the small London suburb of Bexleyheath where he took up a career as a postman. Sometime in 1981 he decided on a change of carrer and purchased a Spectrum ZX81 and a hammer from his local hardware store. He then locked himself away in his Dublab basement studio where he began to experiment with sound and music, living only on a diet of chinese takeaway and Dr Pepper. Influenced by the emerging electronic sounds of the day, his initial productions sounded like a cross between Depeche Mode, Kool & The Gang and a cat being run over. In the 27 years that have passed since that fateful day, Dubism has honed his production skills and gradually added to his studio arsenal whilst adding a number of nutritional alternatives to his diet. He has now emerged, blinking into the light and stroking his very long beard, with a selection of the largest, phattest, speaker destroying Dubstep riddims known to mankind. Ladies and Gentlemen....we give you Dubism...
