Straight from Long Beach California hails the passionate emcee 2SUANT [pronounced two-suant]. Also known as "THE KNOWLEDGE IN MIND", 2SUANT posses a lyrical talent that is influenced by the society around him. With a very conscious tone, his delivery is packed with crazy rhyme schemes and patterns, at times speedy delivery and always full of unique word play. His talent isn't just something he wants to use to help his life, but the lives of others also. His stage moniker is a metaphor that reincarnates the vision of the great revolutionist Toussaint L'ouverture. "The way Toussaint freed slaves is the way I want to free listeners." He wants people to let positive music free there minds, instead letting bad music influence there lives. "We don't notice it, but subconsciously, what we listen to, shapes how we live out daily lives." Currently working on his "Ink In My Notebook" LP... 2SUANT will also drop an Ep version of the album which will also serve as his demo, "Split Ink". Coming from a city and county that perpetuated "gang banging" 2SUANT uses his street knowledge and experiences with police, love, jail, fashion, gangs, "the system" friends and everything under the sun. At 20 years old, he's seen a lot in life and knows what it has to offer, now it is time for the world to see what he has to offer. His influences range from rap legends like 2pac to alternative indie rock bands such as The Weakerthans. 2SUANT's love for life, is portrayed through his rhymes.
