Shred Happens

About Me

Screamo/Melodic Metalcore band Collapse the Abstract formed in early 2008, just a group of friends who all shared a passion and love for music.
All 5 members of the band are accomplished jazz musicians, (that can and will bust out a jazz chart during a show if asked) and have a different musical background to add to the band's unique sound.
With brutal screams, crazy-ass complex drum beats, solid bass lines, catchy harmonized riffs, and insane shredery,
CTA brings to the table something unique, something original, and something real.
Dont worry...
SHRED HAPPENS.
We have shared the stage with:
The Miles Between
Follow the Flies
Take Courage
Listen Up
Jules Verne
As Venice Burns
Astronomer
A Good Night Sound Rush
Heart of the Oak
Joseph Merrick
The Human Concept
here is a clip of us doing our version of "Six" by All that Remains:
"this side of the sea" live in dover
"Osama Bin Laden's Plot To Kill Bobby Brown" and "Cactus" Live in Dover
