Today, NASA scientists stated year 2005 might be the warmest year known to man .Last month, a report claimed global warming is approaching the point of no return . Bizarre weather patterns increased all over the world in 2004. Scientists are screaming it's worse than they thought , and the effects are already hitting us worldwide.

While our corporate media is hard at work dizzying the public with the "Is global warming real?" bullshit debates, the rest of the world is already taking action. Over 140 countries signed the Kyoto treaty that reduces CO2 emissions, which goes into affect next week. We are the biggest CO2 polluter in the world, yet Bush refused to sign as corporate greed takes precedence as usual in the good ol' US of A.
"The US contains 4% of the world's population but produces about 25% of all carbon dioxide emissions. By comparison Britain emits 3%, about the same as India which has 15 times as many people" - BBC News
So basically... the media is misleading us, Bush is against the whole world, and they're both kneel before our real leaders, Disney, Walmart, General Motors, General Electric, Exxon, Pepsi-co, etc. etc.. What else is new?

The Ground Truth
This is a FREE MOVIE you can stream with interviews from troops who returned from Iraq. It's about 30 minutes long.

We're entering a time when people who watch the most TV news are the most un-informed. As you probably know, this is already true for viewers of the Fox News Channel.
The corporate media echos the Bush administration's words and then floods viewers with more opinions
than facts. These opinions just rationalize the actions of the administration and only exist to build public support (currently they're doing this with our future attacks on Iran and the privatization of social security). Fuck these assholes. If you asked Americans a year ago if we should attack Iran, they would say no. Now, more and more are saying yes.

From the rocket fuel in our drinking water to the PCB's in our breast milk , corporations are using our bodies as their toxic dumps .

From factory farming chicken without beaks to testing genetically modified foods on the public , they recklessly re-invent nature for profit .

From the exploitation of under developed countries to the war in Iraq , our government is consistently on the side of profit over people .

Ninety-something percent of the world is poorer than you and me , yet we're given incentives to increase our already absurd consumption levels .

Our media saturates us with entertainment and irreverent news such as Michael Jackson, Runaway Bride, and Terry Schiavo, while ignoring the state of desperation and poverty that plagues the world's masses.

Locally, Silicon Valley has the highest concentration of Superfund sites in the country , Hunters Point's shipyard is poisoning it's residents , and the Farallon Island's radioactive waste is contaminating marine life off the coast of San Francisco.

All of the civil liberties we enjoy today were won by the people standing up and fighting for it. ACTIVISM WORKS. REVOLUTION IS POSSIBLE. TAKE A STAND.
