Family, friends, respect, or dirty money? It may be an easy choice for most, but in New Orleans its a harsh reality. The epidemic disease of poverty directly contrbutes to bad decision making skills; thus drug dealing teens emerge from drug infested hoods. Drug money turns to blood money in a cut throat society. Innocent blood is spilled for little to nothing. Some just ignore the facts and say, "well its not on my street or in my house so im not worried about it". Ignorance is not bliss! Ignorance won't save our children! Ignorance wont raise our children 2 know better than 2 ruin their lives and fall victim 2 statistics. These problems are on your street. They are in your home in one form or another. Drugs and violence dont just affect the impoverished communities. Rich, poor, black, white and all between suffer the consequences. Some will support me and the messages I speak on through my music but some will condem the truth. I can't speak 4 everyone, but I wont bite my tounge just because you dont like what I'm talking about. I must be honest with myself. My words are'nt meant 2 glorify the evils of this world. By describing my struggles I hope 2 inspire and impower people 2 fight 4 change. Knowledge is power. GOD is love
