Everything started in mid-2004 when Jason Lopez, the band's vocalist and Camilo Zapata, ex-bass player got together and came up with the idea of starting a Spanish rock band. After several practice sessions, and with the help of ex-guitarrist Darek Kupinsky and drummer Dan Madsen they put together what became Bajo Zero's first incarnation. Several of the songs were written by Camilo and Jason, later to be modified by the group. The band started to become known around the New jersey, Pennsylvania and New York area after recording their first demo which includes songs like: Sin Ilusiones, Bohemio, Reclamos, Dormir Tranquilo and Asi es el amor. They played at such places as D'antigua, Laura's night club, Murallas Underground, Fiesta Night club,etc... Bajo zero also participated in the festival Colombiano in Elizabeth, and on the Hispanic Heritage day at the Giant's stadium where they played with the band momposonica. In 2006 Jheison Lopez started a new band with the help of Leo Kline on drums and Don howland on Bass guitar, after years of playing with bands Jheison Lopez decided that it was time to record his album as a solo artist, many people helped to achieve this. Jheison Lopez records his first album in 2007 and already sold about 3000 copies in many places from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New york.I would like to thank many people for helping me record this album, I would like to thank Don Howland for always being there for me, for recording some of the bass lines and giving me all those guitar lessons which were a big part of my development as a musician, I would like to thank Leo Kline for being there for me and recording all the drum lines, and I would also like to thank Dan Madsen for helping me record, mix and master the album.FOR BOOKING AND INFO EMAIL ME AT
