First and foremost:
MoJoe does not longer exist as a band.
MoJoe started as a home-boys band (200 years ago). As the four of them had quite some experience at the local scene, the guys aimed for the Asian market and so they packed their bags and went to Jakarta to explore the local music scene. That was the year of 1994 and turned out to be a success.
MoJoe signed a 3 months contract at a club called "Prambors" which also had one of the best radio stations in Jakarta. As a result of such fine circumstances, MoJoe frequently played at the Prambors Radio station. After this nice first experience, MoJoe returned to Jakarta several times and even received an invitation of Princess Norhayati of Brunei to perform at her playground in Bandar Seri Begawan (Brunei) and in London as well. Their first album "Uluwatu"was released in august 1995 by Hemagita which later merged to Warner Music Indonesia. In April 1998 their second album was about to be launched but unfortunately for MoJoe, the political crisis and the additional economical crisis kept their second release on hold.Riots everywhere in the city of Jakarta and President Suharto was forced to resign after being president for more then 30 years! The whole Warner Music staff was replaced in 1998 and the new arrived staff wanted to hear some more demo..s. Even though MoJoe had a final mix of the video-clip of the release track See the World, they had to bring up some new demo's……
Beneath you will find the video as mentioned before. The Footage quality is a little poor, but the quality of the sound is excellent and I am happy with it, otherwise this would only be played on a VHS player in a living room somewhere. Now it is on-line and you can enjoy it.Maybe the video should be re-mastered, so if anyone is interested....just mail me.
