No fear. No distractions. The ability to let that which does not matter truly slide.—Chuck Palahniuk.................................................!â €™m known as Missy to pretty much everyone in my world (tho a few people do call me Melissa) which truthfully isn’t such a huge place & I kind of like it that way. Simple and small can carry much bigger rewards than big and glitzy any day. I DONT play games in life or more specifically I refuse to play them in my relationships, I wont accept dishonesty, of any kind, large lies or little that kind of hurt no one deserves, and in no way can I stand drama, I’ve come to a point in my life where all I want is quiet, calm, and LOTS of happiness. I've recently met my father after a VERY long absence and am now enjoying taking the time to get to know him, not to mention the fact that he lives 5 mins from Siesta Key! I’ve fallen in love with the beach in the past couple years, the quiet but huge sound of the waves can be so relaxing, and calming I could listen to it day and night. I also love open spaces or quaint towns, and If I can make it possible I’m thinking that relocating is a definite possibility in my future, Id love to live near enough to a beach so each day can end with a long relaxing walk down the coast and a quiet night of snuggling in the sand, or maybe on a farm where I can sit on the porch and listen to the horses whinny and the piggies snort while the sun goes down :)
glitter-graphics.comIn the past couple years I've learned quite a few things, about myself and about life, don’t get me wrong I know there's still A LOT more to be learned, but I have learned a bit more than most might take the time to or could even admit to. For example I've learned what it truly means to love someone from your entire heart, to have them embedded in your soul so deeply you find that everywhere you go you no longer walk but instead you dance. Ive also learned what it feels like if that is love destroyed, your heart is shattered and your is soul torn apart. Im learning how to accept that nothing is ever certain, that we can never fully know what is to come, good, bad, a lesson we need to learn in this life, but that what ever it is its always a way down a new path towards something not better, but something new, cause what you had may have been something you needed, and what you find may be something we are meant to find when the time is right for you to find it. I’ve learned that trust is the most precious aspect of a relationship of any kind and once it's broken it takes an enormous amount of work from all involved to rebuild it, and in the end after all the hurt, tears, and time invested you could either end up with the strongest relationship you might ever hope to have or one that can never find stable ground again. Ive learned that the past is the past and it should be left there. Not forgotten, because when we forget it repeats, but it defiantly should be forgiven, learned from and moved on from. Holding grudges, anger or resentment in the end only hurts ourselves as well as those around us and can blind us to and lead to losing much more important things, some of which can never be replaced or may never be found again, if we can't find forgiveness, we can't move forward in life and end up stuck repeating or initiating the repeat of past mistakes. I’ve learned that a smile can be an amazing thing and can be felt as well as seen, bouncing on the bed can bring out the best of giggles, honesty is the best and only policy and something Ive found I cant survive without, singing should be a sporadic but a definite part of the day, you should always tell the people you love that you love them cause you never know when the chance to do so might be taken away from you, you should give and accept as many hugs and kisses as possible for each one is special and perfect in its own way, never expect life to stay the same because you never know when a drastic change good or bad is just around the corner, at least one chocolate meltdown a week should be acceptable, in reality most of us aren’t as strong as we’d like to think when faced with adversities and need the help of those whom love us to find our way through, quiet calm relaxed that’s the key, you should take as many days as possible to do something that’s actually nothing, food stores are my sanctuaries, you can never love someone too much when its true, pure, unconditional, innocent love, you must have patients, daisies, horses, rainbows, ice cream, the smell of fresh pine trees, socks, and teddy bears are necessities not desires, distraction should be cherished, talking makes things so much better in every situation, water is apparently a food group, frogs and toads aren't as lucky as the ancient tales tell of them to be, that you should always give your whole heart whether or not it is accepted or returned, beauty is the most irrelevant aspect of a person unless it is internal, and that love, real true love can be an amazing thing. It can make your world a perfect place, can destroy your world if its lost and is a miracle if found. I've also learned that almost anything can be accomplished in this life, all our dreams, hopes, fantasies, and desires can be achieved; be positive, work hard and believe you can get there and in time with A LOT of patience you will find yourself exactly where you want to be..........Happy.
