I've been playing guitar since high school. I got into jazz and also old time and bluegrass in college with the help of good people. I've been playing renditions of the latter genres and folk for 7 years or so. Recently getting my own thing going, writing tunes about the usual: hot chicks, loneliness, people I miss, women I've lost, commentary on the world, politics, media, the built environment and getting back to simple things.i enjoy blending traditional american instrumentation to suit the needs of the music that call out to me, weather you call it indy, folk, bluegrass, rock, blues, jazz - it's up to you.Typically I perform as a singer, backing vocalist, banjo, rhythm guitar and lead guitar player. i am seeking the ultimate harmonies with a female. Also specific instrumentalists such as bass, keyboard, accordion, and drums/percussion willing to experiment with original Americana music.based in Marin County, CA, and currently traveling around Europe, busking, and adventuring. I hope to get into the studio this summer.I love playing with several groups: Wagon, The Cheaters, and friends like Dane Miller (fiddle), Eliot Sutro (mandolin), and Nick Cohon (fiddle, banjo, guitar).
