About Me
The name is Racos and i am music!I have a greate passion for music , my whole life is sorrounded by music it is what keeps me goin and whats kept me still standing on the surface of the earth today:).Ive always been musicallly involved weather it was as simple as growing up with a mix of oldies, like Aretha,jackson5,Al green,Diana Ross,The Stylistics,and caribbean influenced artists, and just boogyin down with ma fam on the eavinings haha,by the time i was 5 there used to be this movie theatre around my house that my godfather usedto work at and hed take me with him, i used to go on tha stage section and sing Blueberry hills or dance to salt n peppa's push it haha, at 5 years old i thaught pushit was simply doing a dance then some pushups on tha floor haha,little did i know then what it meant lol.Ive always involved myself in music as a kid growin up even at school, id always be in talent shows or dancing,back then i used to go with mainly what i was instilld upon which was basically cultural dances from my country belize,my favorite was tha punta, a fast beat strong african and latin beat, if u listen to tha samba or some brazilian or african dance ud find the similarities in it ,except out punta is mainly a hip dance where u swing ur waiste fro side to side to the beat of the drums and no its not a femenine dance either , some guys actually dance it better than the females i tell ya.Anyways the older i got the more connected i got with more and more music,from salsa, to merengue to waltz,omg what a combo right haha.my passion became greater when thanks to my sisters and my brother i was introduced to r&b and rap,going back to loving dope songs from kool artists back then like jon b,toni braxton, janet , jodeci,r kelly,mary j blige,kriss kross ,2pac biggie, bone thugs in harmony,slick rick,coolio and tha list goes on and on.. the first rap song i ever learnt was coolio's gangstas paradise, i thaught i was tha shh, when i managed to memorize the whole song lol.It was until later when i got into High School i started being creative and started street/choreography, i call it street choreography cuz i never used to stick with one thing, id always usedto mix it up a lil,combining choreography of course but then mixin it up with some street dance or a free style part haha,so far ive done quite a numerous amout of songs that i can say im proud of(just to mention a few from artists like mya,janet jackson, michael jackson,usher,limp bisket yea i said limp bisquit,britney spears, n sync,aaliah,b2k etc..). I remember writing my first song when i was 14,lol and it was a spanish song too haha, it was a remake of mya's ghetto superstar,it was for a school xmas presentation, "Biene Navidad" everyone thaught it was kool haha, such a dork back then lol.then from then on i just kept that love growing until i started making more songs that ive been told really got what it takess,ive done r&b of course and also alternative, its actually easier for me to come up with an alternative hook for u in a second or a latin song, when on the other hand it would take me longer to make an R&b song, i guess its cuz i have greater expectation when it comes to an R&b song, im a perfectionist so i guess i want to make it perfect i guess.So as u see my whole life and i mean that literally is surrounded by music,like ive said ive been thru a lot of shit in my life so i just had to have something to hold on to and live for.That is why my ultimate dream is to make it in the music industry, or just anything that has to do with music,weather its choreography or what i feel really is my strongest passion which is writing(song writer) id like to make it as a vocal producer,then eventually when ive gotten to the point where i think im recognized for my talent ,then take that next step as an artist, i know i got what it takes so i belive its just a matter of time and practicing and timing!! and i believe the time is now! Never did i want to be a part of music as i do now! Music i believe is at a place where it is struggling and lacking greatly when it comes to creativity and the real love for it! I want to bring back what music means, the feeling it gives you the place and memory it takes u when listening to it! I want to keep music alive and Live through music!
