Vital Takedown was formed in Santa Clarita, California on February 18, 2008 by Nic McLaughlin (Vocals/Guitar) and Lorenzo Evangelista (Drums). The name of the band was formed "Vital" because of its first and second definitions, meaning "energetic/important", while "Takedown" stands for the takedown of towns, shows, and obstacles standing in their way. Further more, showing that they are ready to reach out for their dreams head on with a sound they feel can inspire them to the top. Vital Takedown is on a non-stop mission to deliver an exuberant energy to the music industry. Their music is for anyone at any time and is known to lift spirits and give an adrenaline rush to the ears that are picked up along the way.
