Aglaia (New Layout)

Formed out of the remnants of Pardon the Insolence, the three remaining members Jared Galloway, Caleb Jones, and Caleb Anthony have assembled an unlikely mix of talent and has returned stronger and better than ever before. Original guitarist Caleb Jones says, "We stopped to look back at everything we did in Pardon the Insolence, we wanted to make everything darker give a new edge to our style. Essentially, we took what we thought was best and shaped it into this new dark child of ours". The first step in implementing the changes was to find the right members.Aglaia's first new addition was Mikeal Ragsdale once drummer for With Blood Comes Cleansing. His death metal style drumming has added a new foundation on which Aglaia has built its style. His speed and creativity is being carefully and thoughtfully honed. The next addition was one that was from the beginning inevitable. Tyler Loyd had always been a long time mentor and friend of everyone in the band. His vocals always a supplement to Jared's during practices and the occasional show. Tyler now assumes the role of vocalist, giving Jared the option of adding Keyboard and Synth tracks to the new songs.Even while the first show as Aglaia, a nightmare reality of how-not-to prepare a drummer, runs fresh in their memory, they seek to prove the changes are worth the hype.
