BUNTA
"BUNTA" started and still is in a little hic town called Ellensburg. Dispite all the country and hilbilly music, we still love our metal!! Nate (drummer), Kels (bassist), and Gabe (guitars) has been friends since ellementary school and picked up the instruments along the way. The latest member John has been around sence middle school and now ('07) is finally along for the ride. Nate, Gabe, and Kels jammed together all the time and had been in a band since middle of 2004 but didn't have vocals. They played the school assembly's instermentally in 2004-2005. A few summers ago (2005) Damon (vocals) joined after a quick but brilliant try-out and they started writing just after, Damon is currently in Seattle going to college so Bunta has no vox right now. Their newist member, John (guitars) joined in 2007 after an invitation to jam for a bit, a week later after riffing a new song Bunta played battle of the bands introducing John to the band and took 1st place. Many of you are probably wondering what "BUNTA" means? Well it means nothing... The word was formed by Nate's horrible interpertaion of a friends name. It was first a song name, and then a friend suggested it as a band name and it worked out. This is the shortend story of how Bunta came to be. So come to the shows and help this gay ass drunken train wreck of a story get longer!!
