I live in Hollister, Missouri with my wife Angie and our three kids Blane, Skyla, and Conner. Angie and I are singer/songwriter/musicians and we have worked in various shows in Branson, Missouri including 50's At The Hop, Celebrate America, Joseph and the Amazing...etc., The Promise, to name a few. Our passion and indeed purpose of late is to promote autism awareness and help generate funding for research in order to someday find a way to defeat this often ignored but increasingly common condition. There are lots of ways to learn more, these are just a few of them. Angie and I are currently writing/recording an album devoted to the subject which we hope to use to simultaneously promote awareness, raise funding for studies, and give a voice to this often silent and growing segment of our society. Our album is on order and should be available by late December in time for Christmas. It contains 10 tracks about our experiences with PDD as well as some observations about diet for the autistic person and some thoughts on immunizations and their negative potential. It is uplifting, informative, heartfelt, and at times, fun. Our hope is that it will promote hope. Also that it will have a positive impact on the growing autistic population of our planet and perhaps generate funding for further research into the causes and possible treatments for this increasing condition.Additionally, we are very excited to be collaborating with our friends Bucky and AJ Heard on a marvelous and uplifting musical children's show. We are not 100% sure what form the show will take, animated television, puppets, musical storybook, live stage production, audio only, interactive website, or a combination of all of these. What we do know is that Bucky's song and story ideas are truly inspired and have the impact of Schoolhouse Rock though in a more personal and consistent story line. This will not be a show that is "dumbed down" for children as we believe that kids are capable of understanding far more than society wants to believe. We want to step into that notion rather than retreat from it by giving them something positive, complex, and yes, I'll say it, educational to latch onto while they are being entertained and even loved by the characters, songs, and ideas in this unique show. The Album "Who You Are Is Where It's At!" Is OUT! It's available at rockumentally.com or at myspace.com/rockumentally or itunes or you can just contact me or Buck.Course we do more than those things. Angie also home schools our youngest son Conner and I am a proud cast member of Noah The Musical where I get to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ while supporting my family. I have a Mac-based project recording studio and play guitar, bass, and keys. I program the rest. That's it.
The NeoTypicals
Here's the final on our autism-inspired music project. We hope you like it. If you do, please share it with anyone you think might care about it. 50% of all intake will be diverted to autism awareness and research organizations.
