Repin dat 910 Curolina aka "DA SGTMAJ OF DA SOUF" was born in High Point North Curolina Guilford Couty but grew up in southern North Carolina just 45 min from the South Curolina border Carolina spent all if not most of his child hood life there. Curolina is the oldest of two brothers and a sister growin up in the small towns of Evergreen, Chadborn, Lumberton, Boardman and Whiteville NC. Living in Lumberton, NC he decided on his own that he would not get caught up in the drug life that he was so used to seeing everyday. Instead he tried to stay to himself at times so that it would not affect him. But there was another problem that he could not avoid and that was the street life. He still had to face the other things that would affect his life daily. At the young age of 10 he would always find himself getting jumped, beat up, slamed on his head, burned and robbed by those twice his age just for the shoes, clothes and anything else they could take from him. Even though Curolina was just a lil kid the streetz aint got no age limit or dont go by the color of your skin. So he knew that he could not avoid the streets it was live by the streetz or die by the streetz that was the only choice. So Curolina had to change to adapt to the streetz because it wasnt goin to adapt to him. Til this day he has the scars and the burns of what its done to him. And he found out shortly that the change he had to make would be the change of his life that would help him survive and make him a man faster than he expected. Because after that everyone knew who he was and respected him from that point on. Shortly after his Mom moved them to Whiteville, NC where no one knew his background and what he went thourgh. At the age of 16 Curolina felt like to ease some of the things he was goin through that he felt like he should write and talk about his situations. Then that is when others who heard him for the first time knew he had a special talent before he even did. So to sum it all up the streetz is what made Curolina and what his music represents. Anyone who hears his music tells him that they can feel what he has become and understands why he flow like he does. That his style is a style that no one will be able to copy and that its uniqe and real. Because his music is what he went though wit all bullshit aside.
