I want to take this magazine in a new direction...
For months I have not been able to shake how important this past election was. At the end of the day I was excited that people were involved in what was going on, even if their opinions or candidates or reasons were different from my own. Then I started really paying attention to how beautiful the time we live in is. The universe is crackling with potential and on November 4, for me at least, everything changed. People celebrated like it was (to quote Colin Powell) a millennium new years eve. It jolted me. I really can feel the energy of millions of people running through me and swirling around everything. I don't care how hippy-ish that makes me seem, I can feel it and it's overwhelming me to the point of tears.A lot of people who live and work in the real world care about who is in the white house and what they can do to help and I want to get it down on paper. I want to ask you to write down what you're feeling or experiencing. There's no commitment or promises to be made, if you want to write once or every month or not at all is totally up to you. If I can turn this magazine into a compilation of thoughts and ideas that go across the spectrum, it could be a beautiful thing to look back on and see just how the development of the uphill battle went.

i'll publish however many opinion pages are sent to me and get them out in 2 waves; on the first day of the month and again in the middle. One issue a month sent out twice. I'm going to concentrate on coffee shops and independently owned stores and art galleries in Somerville, Cambridge, Allston/Brighton, Jamaica Plain, and anywhere else has an open spot. I've already got a bunch of stickers made and small stands painted. Flyers are made. If you want to help, I'd love you. If you're not into it, I love you anyway. I want to do this magazine right and document the importance of the time we live in.

The main ambition of Love is Currency is to record the opinions of many different minds and philosophies. I'm hoping to cover the widest range of thoughts and ideas as possible while the country is in such a massive 'sink or swim' time.
