Synaptic Planet Pulse

About Me

Synaptic Planet Pulse evolved when WEW felt compelled to experiment with understated minimalist themes in an effort to funnel out a raw, purely emotional sound. The unique sounds produced through the use of basic, mostly analog equipment and effects would help create a deep, murky tone. Some of the sounds were produced using unorthodox methods such as manipulating a ball bearing across the guitar strings of a heavily filtered and processed Les Paul Standard.

A visual representation of dreams; presented in the context of cold flowing space. This music was conceived a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

My Blog

Compass

The piece Compass is a kind of tribute to one of my favorite composers Béla Bartók, and in particular his Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta.
