I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

When i was at State Fair last year (drinking....Pabst....a lot) a friend of mine started talking to some girl who was a sheep farmer from Indiana (seriously). I did not say anything to her. All of a sudden she pointed at me and said "I know you." I was surprised because we never met prior, or even up to that point. I asked how she knew me. She replied "You think you know everything. And you're an asshole" rather matter-of-factly. I was taken aback, in part because I don't know how someone can say that, but also because, well, she was kind of right. She messed up a bit though. I don't think I know everything, I admit to knowing maybe 95% of everything, because I figure about 5% of everything is government secrets or ongoing changes in technology which I am unaware of at the moment. I think she may have gotten the asshole part right though. True story.
Other than that, I am a mailman. I enjoy music, and travelling to different cities. I follow baseball pretty much year round, and I drink Pabst Blue Ribbon a lot more than normal people should. I'm also very skilled at the game of poker, however, my luck is inversely proportionate to my skill.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'll meet anyone, so long as they promise me a cold PBR. Any fans of good music and baseball...I'm not overly picky. If you are a band and I deny you, don't take it personally. It's just that if you aren't around where I live I don't need constant show updates and other things like that.

My Blog

The great purge

One of the things about loving music is that you tend to buy a lot of music. I've managed to amass a lot of CD's over the years. Since I dread packing them all again when it's time to move, and I don'...

A rare appearance

Once again, it seems like forever since I've written anything. Underrated album: ..."And Then There Were Three" by Genesis. Their first post-peter Gabriel release. Excellent all the way through, cappe...

It’s been a while, hasn’t it?

I haven't written a blog in a while. My vacation went well. Pittsburgh was enjoyable. the 20-some dollars  in tolls for the drive back I could have done without, however. I've been back to work n...

A possible rivalry

In Wisconsin, by Kenosha, we have the "Bong Rec. Area". Kentucky may have that beat. I went to the Belterra casino to play some holdem. It's in Indiana on the River across from Kentucky.  You hav...

Half drunk on the road blogging

How do you fight boredom on a Sunday night out of town? Bar in the hotel always helps. I got to drink beer and listen to a married british guy hit on a married southern girl. Part pathetic, part inter...

What the hell am I doing up a 7am on a Sunday? I don't work.... I'm actually trying to keep true to the fact that I wanted to leave for Cincinnait at 9:00 (Streets and Trips put that for my schedule)....

Is it something in the water?

Man, it seems that over the course of the past week nothing but shitty things have been happening to people I know. Breakups, pending divorces, medical stuff, and just general bummer-ness. I don't kno...

I’m a true Indie rocker now

When I first started playing music, as I’ve probably stated in blogs of months past, I did it for the love of music. Not selling records or filling arenas, or playing covers...etc, etc. I always...
