Alright... time to get serious here (which I know for many of you, your response is, “Its about DAMN time!). For the past I don't know how many years I've had my fun and games and now it’s time to get down to business! I really don’t want to talk in dept about my past, because that’s what it is: the past. It’s all about the present and future. But I can say, in the past 8 years, I have learned some great lessons in life and met some amazing people who helped teach me those lessons. It has been a rollercoaster ride, both smooth and bumpy, and I’m glad to finally get off, put both feet on the ground, and start walking towards the right direction.
As many of you know, I recently moved to San Diego. There are so many reasons why I moved here but the main one was to start over in life; have a clean start. And right now I can honestly say I made the right decision. I left many things behind back in San Bernardino, and the most important was a great family. And when I say family I mean my close friends and those who always were there for me. I don’t consider my parents family, but as relatives, because even though I love them dearly and they support me 100%, we’re related by blood. Hence, the term relatives. But family… FAMILY are those who are there for you thick and thin. There to listen to you. Guide you through life. And never let you down. They are those who love you unconditionally. And I am grateful to say that I had a family like no other, that words can’t describe. There is a great many of them that I had remarkable experiences with that I will never forget. They showed me the good. And some showed me the ugly. We laughed, cried, and more then enough times, got way drunk together LOL. I miss them more then they will ever know. I LOVE all you guys back home!

But I have been blessed…
I have found a new family here in San Diego as well. In my short time here I have met some AMAZING people. And a few of those have already become family. Its been a hard transition moving to San Diego from San Bernardino, but my new family (and old) have been here for me every step of the way. So I’m grateful to them always. And what I love most about SD is every week I am continually meeting new, exciting, positive people… building on my new found family. I never understood “LA attitude” until I moved here. People here are different, friendlier, geniune. It’s an actual community here where everyone knows everyone and you can walk down the street, go to the store, go to the beach, go to the bars and ALWAYS run into someone you know.

Right now I am currently on a new path of self discovery. I’m FINALLY going back to school (today is my first day of school as I write this) and I couldn’t be any more happier! I’m studying in Fashion Design and I hope to one day have my own store with my actual designs. Also I’m currently unemployed and I’m struggling big time! And surprisingly… I love the feeling. Why? Well… ever since I was 17, I was blessed with a great job at the casino. I made GREAT money there and honestly can say I was not smart AT ALL with my money (which is another lesson I’ve learned) and so that said, I was always financially stable since a young age; I never had to struggle or know what its like to be without money. I always took material things for granted like they would always be provided. But now, not having a job, I know what its like to struggle and not be able to have the things that were always so easily provided for me at my own expense. Now I will forever not take things for granted and be grateful for what I receive in life.
