About Me

When we're up there, nothing in life matters. No bills, no school, no jobs, no stress. But for those 30 minutes in life, we’re free!
We are At Your Funeral. We came to life in late summer of 2005, by Emilio & Diego on guitar. Chris (In Blood I Lay) on vocals and Brian (In Blood I Lay) on drums. Soon after a few months, Chris announced his departure from At Your Funeral in Late of 2005. In early 2006, Miguel bonded in on vocals and Brian Was kicked out of the band do to lack of dedication. Soon after Brian’s departure from the band, Sal came in on drums fitting perfectly on our genre. For a while, we continued to play without a bassist until in mid of 2006 Damian (Ex-Grave Desecration) came in playing bass for at your funeral.
With this perfect line up, we continue to make our music more experimental by mixing gravity blasts and Half Times. Our music is nothing but Heavy paced riffs from some of our death metal influences, crushing skull breakdowns that will make a man want to kill in the pit and of course... what keeps us going are the fans!
We appreciate every single person out there for helping us get to where we are right now. We solely continue and stride to achieve to have fun. To seriously do in what we believe in as a band, to bring you what you all love most! DEATH METAL AND HARDCORE. We only hope to continue on making music, not just for our enjoyment but entirely for everyone as well. At your funeral has optimistically taken risks to achieve and dominate any show that gets in our way.
The name AT YOUR FUNERAL manifested because of the unending cycle of disagreeing on names and a need to come together as a whole, regardless of any differences or disagreements. After further research and discussion, the band finally came to a unanimous agreement on the name.
At your Funeral has played with: Scars of Tomorrow, Suicide Silence, The Final Burden, Underneath The Gun, As Blood Runs Black, Carnifex, Kataklysm, Elysia, Countdown, Too Pure To Die, Sworn Enemy, A Breath Before Surfacing, Burning The Masses, Molotov Solution, Dr. Acula, CDC.
As an accomplishment to all our hard work & playing past venues such as: The Whisky a Go-Go, The Alley, The Chain Reaction, The Egyptian Cafe, The Epic Lounge, The Clinic, The Allen Theatre, & Hoagies Barnacles. We are ready to dominate any other show and venue that gets in our way!
