i believe in God, the creator of everything that is good. it is God who gives me the courage and strength to live this challenging but beautiful life that i have, a life that is God's. i believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, uncreated and unending. He came into the world through Mary. He suffered for our salvation, to show us the way and to lead us back to the arms of God. Jesus is my brother and friend who never ceases to love and protect. Jesus is present as he promised in the Blessed Eucharist wherein he continually offers himself as a sacrifice for us. i believe in the Holy Spirit, who was in the beginning with the Father, the third person in the holy triune God. The Spirit of God radiates itself like the sun in the sky, as vibrant as the spiring and subtle as the northern winds. i believe in the Holy Catholic Church who was established by Christ through the apostles with Peter as the head to keep tha flock from getting lost and to get the lost back into the fold. through the Church the dignity of faith remains intact and unblemished through the unified teachings that is founded on the teachings of Jesus and the Words of God in the Holy Scripture. through the Church we receive the fullness of God's grace while we are here on earth. i believe in the company of saints, the martyrs who shed their blood for the sake of the Kingdom of God on earth, for the Church and for the faith; the holy fathers of the Church who God entrusted his wisdom so that his teachings will be understood and protected from the malice of the devil, the corruptor of mind and soul. i believe in the seven sacraments of salvation, the sign of God's presence and love for all. i believe in the forgiveness of sins, both for me and from me. i believe in the promise of resurrection, and the Kingdom of God in heaven where i will hopefully be welcomed, in purgatory where in i will definitely stay for a while, and in hell which is a place isolated from God. i also believe in the love of God through creation and humanity, through the arts and the spark of God's goodness present in everyone, as spark that needs to be shared. i believe in you and in myself, masterpiece of God, the actual, and visible sign of God's awesome goodness, beauty and power. i believe that we are here for a purpose, that is to continually receive the goodness of God while allowing ourselves to become his instruments of love and goodness.
