Dennis White, also known as Dennis Da Menace, is the epitome of an all around performer. This singer, rapper, actor, host has been performing since the tender age of 5 years old.
Musically, as Dennis Da Menace, his single "Buster" was positioned as a top 20 hip hop/R&B single in Billboard magazine for 2003. Reaching number 1 several weeks in a row. Featured on soundtracks for "Marci X" and "Tough Guy".
As a host, for two years he manned the show "IMX" on Fuse Television. A national interactive, live music video show. With over a million viewers everyday he interviewed the likes of 50 Cent, Marilyn Manson, Ludacris, etc. He later moved to Weekend Vibe on Fox. There he had the opportunity to interview Damon Wayans, Lebron James, Will Smith, Russell Simmons, Vivica Fox, Brandy for the weekly. Soon, he was hired by HBO to host the critically acclaimed "Chatzone". Currently you can see him on Chickflicks, airing on the WE Channel.
As an actor, Dennis started his career starring opposite of lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under). That later led to guest starring roles on Law & Order, The Jury, Third Watch and Jonny Zero. He became a cast member in Spike Lee's television series, "Miracle's Boys", on Nickelodeon/Noggin. That show was directed by Bill Duke (Car Wash, Predator), Lavarr Burton (Sesame Street, Roots), Ernest Dickerson (Juice) and Spike Himself.
Last year Dennis was immortalized by being a character (Baxter) in Def Jam Vendetta II video game and also in "The Warriors" video game. Now he is the host of HBO's Five Rounds With Ok Go.
As you see, he has been diligently pursuing his dreams of entertaining the world.
