Wondering why the really important things in life rarely come easilly for me.

About Me

Leaves--we cannot have, sky--we cannot have, But there is so much we can have--to embrace tenderly in a darkened room... .. .. ..

How Romantic Are You? You're a hopeless romantic. You require ample doses of warmth and sentiment. You embroider your fantasies; they titillate you and lift you out of the ordinary. You're the cockeyed optimist of song, a dreamy, maybe impractical idealist, the willing victim of infatuation.
You Have Fantastic Karma
You are a kind, sensitive, and giving person.
And all your good deeds will pay off - if they haven't already.
But you're not so concerned with what you get in return anyway.
You have an innate caring nature - and nothing can change that! How's Your Karma?Several years ago I came very close to dying. Actually I was kind of the walking dead. Some may find the story interesting. Others may find it educational. It sure was a lesson. I wrote a blog about it. Its been awhile though, if you search, its there...I think I titled it, "the day before I almost died."

My Interests

I had so many things I was interested in when I was in high school but no direction. And the schools mentality was that if you weren't a jock or a cheerleader you weren't worth bothering with. Had I known that some of my minimal skills could have been developed into actual careers, maybe then I would have been able to decide what I wanted to do when I grew up. And sadly I still don't know. I still enjoy drawing although I never studied art although I am better then some people I am not nearly as good as I would like to be. I enjoy writing, but again, no studies in perfecting or even improving those skills. I wrote and illustrated a children's book when I was a senior in high school. It was stolen by someone who told me they had a publisher friend. Oddly a very similar children's book series and TV specials have been made. Coincidence? Maybe. I do however enjoy the job that I have now and hopefully soon I will be able to start working on improving on some of the more creative stuff I like doing. Other then that, I enjoy camping, tent or cabin doesn't matter. I like going to the beach or the mountain, and have had the privilege of seeing a good portion of these United States. There truly is so much America has to offer I see no need to leave its boundaries (OK maybe North America) Family and friends are what are most important though. Having been one to have stood on the roof of the World Trade Center years ago really brought home the enormity of it as I watched it collapse>>>>>.. .. ..

You Are Midnight
You are more than a little eccentric, and you're apt to keep very unusual habits.
Whether you're a nightowl, living in a commune, or taking a vow of silence - you like to experiment with your lifestyle.
Expressing your individuality is important to you, and you often lie awake in bed thinking about the world and your place in it.
You enjoy staying home, but that doesn't mean you're a hermit. You also appreciate quality time with family and close friends. What Time Of Day Are You?

Music:

Music...music...music...Always need to have music playing. Well, almost always. Favorites? Creed, Blue October, Maroon Five, Staind, Nickelback, Linkin Park, Snow Patrol, Green Day, Tool, Alice in Chains, Journey, Daughtry, Blake Lewis, Skamatics, Eagles, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Reel Big Fish, 12 Stones, Puddle of Mudd, Offspring, Pink, Alannis, Everclear, my friend Dave Briski, Jack Johnson, Chris Richardson, Weird Al (yes he counts!), Bush, Bowling for Soup, Bo Bice, Eminem, Warren G, Eurythmics, Ginuwine, Queen, Cherry Poppin Daddies, Sting...and probably a lot more that I'll think if later. I am also open to try new music too. Generally I like all music, depending on the situation. Except for twangy country and music that screams so loud that you can't understand what they are saying... Movies:

How well do you know Lord of the Rings. In which movie(1,2,or 3) did the battle on Plenor Fields take place?
Movie1, Fellowship of the Rings
Movie 2, The two towers
Movie 3, The Return of the King

Question 1 out of 11

MySpace Quiz by QuibbloI do believe BATMAN-The Dark Knight has moved up to the number 2 movie favorite right behind... Lord of the Rings...Fellowship, Two Towers and Return of the King, then Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, and in no particular order: Eastern Promises, Resident Evil (thanks Brandy), 8 Mile, Green Mile, The Prestige, 300 (kicks ass!), Constantine, Hitch, Forrest Gump, Matrix, Pitch Black, X-Men, the Lake House, G.I. Jane, Unleashed, Chocolat, Rudy, A Walk on the Moon, Fearless, Ten Things I Hate About You, Life as a House, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstien, Wizard of Oz, 50 First Dates, all 4 Lethal Weapon movies, Crimsom Tide, The Replacements, Hero (Jet Li), Breakfast Club, Anna and the King, Signs, The Village, What Women Want, A Few Good Men, To Kill a Mockingbird, Logan's Run, The Island, Back to the Future trilogy, original Star Wars, Predator, AVP, Mummy, Men of Honor, Field of Dreams, The Postman, Grease....and honorable mention goes to 30 Days of Night (just saw a commercial for it going on sale tomorrow) and the reason I mention it is because of that movie I gained an important friend. (Even if I didn't get to hide under his arm!) the movie though, yeah, was pretty good. So I just watched The Breakfast Club for the millionth time and every time when Bender (Judd Nelson) says to Carl (the custodian) "See you next Saturday" I always wish there would have been a next Saturday...mostly because I found Judd to be incredibly HOT...Emilio has nothing on him...give me the bad boy! Smokin'!

You scored as Emo/Goth

These guy's are easier to communicate with in general they are understanding and given they aren't just this way as mainstream trend they are excellent for converation and just hanging out, but they have very frequent dark spells, that you can either join in or ignore, cheering up really isn't an option. Good luck, you have your work cut out for you.
