Grew up in Richardson, TX playing sports and mowing lawns. I work long weeks, but at least the hours are predictable. I have a new obsession with spin class. Dont knock it til youve tried it. Hot instructors, good music, girls in spandex, and you dont have to listen to meat heads grunt while trying to give themselves a hernia on the bench press. Plus, its a great workout.Highlights of the year thus far: Watching the Horns at the Rose Bowl, partying in Vegas on New Years, going back to Vegas three weeks later, skiing in Utah, running The Mall in Washington DC, not studying for the CFA anymore this year.Things I like: Beefsteak tomatoes, running, Seinfeld, adventure races, floating the river (but not when its raining), squash casserole, Lost, leaving work early, dogs, corned beef.Things I hate: whining, whole milk, lazy people, traffic, bloody marys, hot apartments, rainy holidays, losing, face time, marketing docs, deductibles.By the way, my 9-year-old cousin swims even faster now and has apparently given up putting his shoes on. As always, put your money where your mouth is, especially when you know youre right.
