Signal:Noise:Sound:System

It was the last week of 2006 and Tommy Doggett and John Kizilarmut were in Guitar Center in Des Moines, Iowa watching a Jo Jo Mayer performance video. Tommy said to John, "we should do something like that." Then two days later, John had secured a date at Vertigo’s. The first performance went well for everyone involved. For Tommy and John, it was proof that all of the electronics worked and for the small audience, it was something different and enjoyable.

The first part of 2007, Signal:Noise had a regular gig at Vertigo’s. Then in the Spring, the club closed. Both Tommy and John had other performance commitments throughout the year but conversations continued about where to play and how to keep a good thing going.

A year has passed and some Noise needs to be made.
