No Eager Men formed in summer 2005 with the aim of playing classic and often obscure 70s punk rock covers to audiences that had long since forgotten them.
After securing loads of support slots with fellow Bradfordians and legendary outfit The Negatives they set about writing their own material.
The first single "I'm Bored" was self-released earlier this year to a warm reception from punks young and old. Capturing the old school sound of The Ramones and adding a twist of both contemporary and British punk, this young 3-piece take things back to a time when rock 'n' roll was fun and didn't require a political agenda or a trendy haircut to affirm its legitimacy. The music is simple, back-to-basics, upbeat and worthy of the pogoing it demands.
The band are continuing to tour all over Britain and despite what the name might suggest, are always eager to bring their infectious brand of rock 'n' roll to new audiences.
Cheers to everyone who's been out to see us and left us with your comments over the last year and a half, it's been a blast! A new single is in the works! If you want to book us please send a message through myspace... we will play for petrol money!

FUNGALPUNK GIG REVIEW - DOG & PARTRIDGE 19/4/08
