About Me

The characters appearing in all the lyrics of Glasco Turnpike are fictional. Any similarities between actions of these characters and the actions of any real people are coincidental.
Remarkable video by Fiona Lennon from Panama with song no 11 from the 1966 Revolver album by the Beatles. What are all these horrible baby dolls and butcher-doctors doing here? Only the real Doctor Robert knows...
This record label is owned by the one and only Doctor Robert the Beatles dedicated a song to in 1966. Beware of Fraud! PhonyGram is established in Eindhoven, the Netherlands since May 1st, 2007. It supports the activities of artists that try to create genuine music. Special formulas are developped to safeguard the continuity of everything and everyone involved in it.
We create, record, engineer and publish our own music. This takes place in a low budget, high end studio environment. We like to stress the importance of playing music for everybody in this world and most of all for the new generation coming up.
Earlier experience in the production area was obtained by releasing the LP 'Licensed to Thrill' by the instrumental surfband Twang (Twang Records, 2002) with a similar independent approach but with more financial means, less time and on a strictly noncommercial basis.

We are working on the production of a movie that explains the vision of Doctor Robert and why it turned out this way. Before major investments will be necessary, a lot of time goes into getting the story right. Five prominent Dutch directors will have to interact in order to come up with the proper result. We're not sure if it'll ever be realised, but we're having an exciting time anyhow.

The picture will not be about a multiple personality disorder or any other of all the imaginairy diseases that psychiatry has come up with during the last century. It's about a superior planet with more culture and less war. With less politics and violence, more music and freedom. Less fear and more peace of mind. Fasten your seatbelts, we're heading for a more natural future!
